Encased in a bed of roses,

Apricating in this rosarium

Laid a most infatuating her.

A Venus, An Aphrodite.

A fragile resplendent angel.

Whose wings her mellifluous tone,

Whose halo her deep blues,

And whose love her magnificent smile.

A sanguine insouciant wonder,

Whose movements flowing of water,

Whose melodies rejuvenate Nature.

In her wake leaving that rosy petrichor.

The sagacious eschew many a gent

Panglossians, Rapscallions; Paragons of Virtue alike.

For her harmonies search for one soul.

Her moon, her bastion of light.

I play no accismus,

For I understand a lover’s heart.

For I too tarry amongst those roses

For I too am a lover, distanced apart.
